The province of Huelva has two distinct regions: the north on the foothills of Sierra Morena and the warmer coastal zone.
Huelva is a province with seafaring tradition, which is engaged in tuna fishing, seafood, especially shrimps, fish; and on the other hand was exploited until recently the copper mine of Rio Tinto. In the nineteenth century, the British bought the mines of Rio Tinto, for operation and created the Victoria Quarter or Barrio Obrero, typically British style.
